Microarray Reader
UCSF uses microarrays to study gene expression in strands of DNA. For this project, they wished to build a new type of microarray “reader” that uses a powerful, but uniform, light source and a high performance CCD imager to produce accelerated throughputs. I worked closely with the researchers to build this new design.
